The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a worldwide free and open community focused on improving the security of application software. Realex Payments is delighted to announce our sponsorship of the OWASP's first Irish Application Security conference.

The conference is to be held in Dublin University, Trinity College on September 10th 2009, and will consist of an intensive day of talks/presentations and discussion with two different tracks focusing on the causes and trends in web application insecurity.

Dave Rook, Security Analyst with Realex Payments will also present at the conference, focusing on web applications security testing with the Burp Suite.
